Private Sector Development is Our Game
We work to drive significant, global change by supporting nonprofits and entrepreneurs who seek to bring sustainable growth and lasting progress to the populations they serve. Our rigorous analysis and broad experience help our clients focus their missions, grow their donor and investor bases and drive lasting results.
We work with game-changing organizations to help improve the lives and livelihoods of people around the world, with a focus on companies that support entrepreneurial approaches.
Government spending now represents about 20 percent of the $60 trillion total global economy. We work with governments, city municipalities, quasi-government agencies such as development funds and trade associations as well as government-owned companies to pave the way for entrepreneurial revolutions their economic and social goals.
The public sector’s influence comes directly, through government entities, state-owned enterprises and institutional funding, as well as indirectly, through regulation and oversight. The sector is facing major challenges, such as rising costs, growing deficits, shifting centers of economic activity, a burgeoning war for talent and increasingly demanding customers.
Recently, the use of stimulus funds and regulatory reform has further blurred the lines between public and private entities.
We work with bold, ambitious leaders who are not satisfied with the status quo and eager for change to address the key strategic tools that improve performance and help public sector entities do the work they do better.
Working in collaboration with senior leaders, we help public-sector organizations set a vision for strategic outcomes, build a robust fact base, rigorously assess options under uncertainty, design an actionable plan, win support from key stakeholders, and evaluate progress from design through execution to ensure that strategies have lasting impact.
Drawing on insights from the private sector and experience in public-sector work, we support clients on a range of strategic topics, including identifying social, economic, and technology trends; synchronizing budgeting and strategic-planning processes; designing stakeholder-engagement plans; and creating innovation programs at scale.
